Wet Weather

In wet and very cold conditions, the children remain inside during recess and lunch-times, under teacher supervision.

Hot Weather

The Department of Education and Training (DET) does not allow children to be dismissed early, even if hot conditions prevail. However, teachers are asked to adjust class programs to take account of the unpleasant conditions. The Principal shall decide, on days of extreme heat, to permit children to remain inside during recess and lunch-times, under teacher supervision.
